Trapalanda was established by the same group of artists that founded La Barraca Trapalanda, an art gallery that exhibited works from a variety of Argentinian and international artists and was a cultural destination in the city. The gallery showed paintings, prints, sculptures, and ceramics, and held competitions. It also helped to train local artists. An incredibly scarce collection of this Argentinian cultural journal; as of October 2019, WorldCat locates only a single holding in a North American library.
