Ukrainskii vopros v osvieshchenii “konspekta X” Ispolnitel'nogo Biuro Sovieta “Natsional'nogo Soiuza Novogo Pokoleniia” v Belgrade [The Ukrainian question as interpreted by the “Memorandum X” of the Executive Bureau of the Council of the “National Union of the New Generation”].

Paris: Izd-vo "Mech", 1937. Octavo (20 × 14 cm). Original staple-stitched printed wrappers; 42 pp. Wrappers lightly creased and spotted; still about very good.

First and only edition of this harsh polemic by a pro-Ukrainian member of the Russian diaspora, writing under the pseudonym A. Chigirin. The book critiques the programmatic publication, titled "Konspekt X" of the National Union of the New Generation, a Russian émigré organization formed in Yugoslavia. Today best known as the National Alliance of Russian Solidarists (NTS), the organization was founded to actively subvert the communist regime in Russia, and survived into the post-war period. Chigirin's pamphlet was in turn the subject of another Russian activist, Vasilii Shul'gin's polemical publication "Ukrainstvuiushchie i my" (The Ukrainianizers and we"), published in late 1938. We are unable to find any indication of the real author's name.

As of February 2020, KVK and OCLC show a small number of copies, mostly in North American libraries, but scarce in the trade.
