Belgrade: Biblioteka "Misao"; Stamparija "Mirotocivi", 1922. Small octavo (16 × 12 cm). Original pictorial wrappers; 176 pp. Stain to rear wrapper; else a very good copy.
First edition of a volume of literary parodies by Vinaver, the translator, literary critic, and poet, who was the author of a "Manifesto of Expressionism." Vinaver also contributed to the key Serbian avant-garde journals "Zenit" and "Putevi." He was personally acquainted with Aleksandr Blok and other Russian Symbolists, and a leading figure among unconventional, avant-gardistic Belgrade literati such as Miloš Crnjanski, Ljubomir Micić, and Rade Drainac. The striking wrapper drawing is signed illegibly and not attributed in the text. As of February 2020, KVK and OCLC show just two copies in North America.
