Striking green and black angular design by the Georgian avant-garde artist and father of Georgian stage design, Irakli Gamrekeli (1894-1943). The book contains a travelogue by Grigol Robakidze, detailing his trip through Azerbaijan and Armenia in the late 1920s. Published shortly before Robakidze defected to Germany; he would remain in the West until his death in 1962.
