Striking bibliophile edition containing excerpts on God and holiness by R. M. Rilke, from letters to the writer Franz Xaver Kapuss, we asll as the text of a lecture about Spinoza by Jindřich Kohn, recorded by the publisher Zdeněk Ballenberger. Ballenberger owned his own printer's shop and publishing venture, where the present work was printed. A Jew, Ballenberger was deported to Łódź in 1941, where he died in 1943. This is copy 196 of 450 copies printed. Sáñka 4743. As of August 2020, KVK and OCLC only show one copy outside the Czech Republic, at St. Gallen.
