Koch's book is an extensive account of the German occupation years, told from the point of view of a journalist who experienced the traume of arrest and deportation by the Gestapo and the horrors of a German concentration camp. With twelve photographs depicting scenes from the Buchenwald camp. An early and uncommon post-war account of the Protectorate and the Holocaust.
