The annual yearbook produced by the students at L'École Municipale Estienne was a collaborative effort and showcased works in the fields of engraving, typesetting, design, lithography, photography, photogravure, and others. This was the fifth St. Etienne yearbook produced, and includes an illustrated essay "Avec Les Honneurs de la Guerre. Souvenirs du Fort de Vaux" by P.A. Roy, a proposition for an exhibition on the history of writing, and an illustrated essay about playing cards titles "Jeux de Societe". Scarce; as of October 2020, OCLC does not show any holdings of the 1939 yearbook in North American institutions, and only one worldwide.
