Paul Dermée was a Belgian writer, poet, and literary critic discovered by Tristan Tzara. He was acquainted with Picasso, Juan Gris, and Sonia and Robert Delaunay, and his wife Céline Arnauld was an active participant in the Paris Dada movement. Dermée was also director of the magazine L'Esprit Nouveau.
