A run of 49 total issues in 46 fascicules (full list of issues below), approx. 24-32 pp. each, of the journal aimed at Italian youth, under the editorial direction of Achille Starace, featuring stories and cartoons praising the Fascist regime and promoting the tenets of Fascism, each issue with an illustrated cover, most comprised of photographs and photo collages. Profusely illustrated throughout. Some slight scattered toning, minor edgewear, first issue of group with small area of paper loss to back cover. Large 4to. Gioventú Fascista first appeared on March 23, 1931, the 12-year anniversary of the founding of the Fasci Italiani di Combattimento. The journal ran through December 1936, and during its run published contributions by notable Fascists including Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, Italo Balbo, Giovanni Giuriati, and Giuseppe Bottai. Very scarce; as of May 2021, OCLC locates only three partial holdings in North American institutions.
