Opal Nations is a British writer, illustrator, musician, and music producer. He worked in the mid-sixties as a singer in London clubs, helping to popularize American-style R&B and gospel music. He then stepped away from singing to begin a career writing experimental fiction. His work has been published in over 200 small press magazines worldwide, and he has written over 30 books of fiction, drawings, and collage. He also founded his own small press, Strange Faeces, to bring attention to young poets and writers.
