Two volumes of poems by Diamara Oleksiivna Khodymchuk, born 1925. Khodymchuk's parents were actors at the Berezil Theatre in Kharkiv. During the German occupation, she was deported to Germany as an Ostarbeiter. After the war, she lived in Paris and later settled in New York. A number of her bright, evocative, often nostalgic poems have been set to music.
