Originally distributed as a free supplement to the children's journal Detskii drug, this booklet is divided into two parts and contains advice on constructing a home-made "mechanical theatre", including instructions on preparing marionettes, a river, a small house, etc., as well as numerous schematics and drawings. The second part focuses on mastering the art of "geliominiatiura" -- decorating photographs with oil paints, also to be done by the children.
