The first Czech translation of this work by Kropotkin (followed only by a Prague imprint in 1919), and one of his earliest book-length publications in Czech. Issued as a supplement to the Czech anarchist journal "Volné Listy" (Free Pages), which was published in New York from 1890 to 1917. Kropotkin's 1892 essay presents a theory of morality according to which fundamental ethical instincts occur in nature and are similar to our bodily senses. With extensive publisher's ads for other anarchist and communist texts, as well as a desription of the journal's aims on the rear wrapper. No copies found in North American libraries; KVK, OCLC show a single copy at IISG Amsterdam.
