Text printed in orange on better stock. Rear wrapper creased; else a very good, uncut and unopened copy.
A scarce sample of the abundant Czech erotica of the interwar period, this was the third volume of the "Fenix" series published by M. D. Zelenka. The long poem has traditionally been attributed to the nineteenth-century poet Jaroslav Vrchlický. From the print run of 120 copies (an additional 37 numbered issues were also printed), although Hýsek notes the print run was significantly exceeded. Hýsek, Obrazový knihopis českých erotic, 454. As of August 2020, KVK and OCLC show only one copy outside the Czech Republic, at Northwestern.
